Why The Rec Room

Their first real sport.

Little Athletes is where 3 and 4 year olds get their first taste of real sport-style movement. This isn’t free play; it’s structured, coach-led training designed to build the athletic foundation every kid needs.

Each session introduces running mechanics, jumping technique, throwing and catching fundamentals, and age-appropriate obstacle-course patterns. Kids learn how to listen to a coach, wait their turn, and follow multi-step instructions; all while having a blast.

The pace is fast and the energy is high, but every challenge is scaled so your child feels successful. It’s the perfect bridge between toddler play and real athletic development.

Common Questions

Everything you need
to know.

For all kids under 4, parents are required to participate/supervise with their children.

Yes! Our builds are designed to help them with their basic skill development in a fun and scientific way. If your child is still learning things like walking and balance, bringing them to The Rec Room will enhance their neuromuscular coordination and overall developmental growth.

We know 2–4 year olds can be unpredictable! Some days they’re ready to take on the world, and other days they needed that nap. There’s never pressure to push through a build that just isn’t happening that day. Our coaches will always do their best to redirect, engage and meet your child where they are, but if they need a break, a cuddle with their grown-up or to call it a day, that’s completely okay. We want The Rec Room to be a place they’re excited to come back to.

Rising Athletes

Five stages, one system, delivered through weekly Builds. Designed around biomechanics. Athletic development done differently. Not drills for a sport. Mechanics for a body. Every stage is built on how the human body actually moves, so strength and speed have something real to stand on. Our stages overlap so every athlete trains where they actually are, not just where their age says they should be. It’s not about which stage fits your kid’s age. It’s about which stage fits how they move.
